REMOTE THERAPEUTIC MONITORING (RTM)
REMOTE THERAPEUTIC MONITORING (RTM)
Remote Therapeutic Monitoring (RTM) services monitor health conditions including musculoskeletal system status, respiratory system status, therapy (medication) adherence, and therapy (medication) response. RTM is intended for the management of patients utilizing medical devices that collect non-physiological data. The data can be self-reported as well as digitally uploaded. Furthermore, the system enables service providers to monitor medication and patients’ adherence to therapy. In addition, remote therapeutic monitoring (RTM), proposed by CMS, can scan the home exercise compliance of the patients who use these medical devices.
